As promised, SLGSAANASE is providing an update (in pictures) of the 2019 Principal's Training institute that TfDSL is facilitating & SLGSAANA-SE sponsored (with funds and stationary resources). The training is currently ongoing today November 26th at the school headlined by Canon. A.J.Lasite and facilitated by Dr. Archie Deen. In attendance are over 58 Principals from the Western Area (including the Principals of Annie Walsh, Prince of Wales, St.Joseph Convent, MGHS, MBHS, St. Edwards, Albert Academy schools). This institute is a follow-up training to the first Teacher's institute which SLGSAANASE and TfDSL again sponsored and facilitated earlier this summer.

The SLGSAANASE is of the view (in light of the worst WASSCE...equivalent to SAT in the USA, results in recent Sierra Leone's history), that the training and re-engaging of teachers and Principals is a critical step to the re-development of education in Sierra Leone. This training crowns a very successful year in which SLGSAANSE was able to contribute 9funds and equipment) to the newly implemented STEM project at the SLGS, totally financed the shipment of the STEM materials and desks to the school in Freetown.
